after W Barcelona on Christmas holidays lastyear,i'm falling inlove with W hotels.i knew a new W will open in Paris and i want to try...i have 5days free for Easter holiday but i went to Paris only 3days

a new route from Zurich-Basel-Paris gare de lyon i want to try too new service on board for TGV 1st class in-out to switzerland only??
W Opera Paris is one of a newest hotel in Paris open on 29th feb...very new with a great area (area 9) only 150m far from Galleries Lafayette and 100m far from Opera Paris

when a french classic building meets a hitech from new york lets see how it works......its an old building and it was a bank before (BNP?) small entrance and very small reception...too small but staffs are very nice i met 1 thai staff here too a receptionist a nice girl...magnifique its my 2nd time i meet thai staffs in 5 star hotels in europe...first was in Hyatt Regency Cologne

i heard that many guests complain about the room size in this hotel its a bit small for the price like this but i understand this is Paris very difficult to get a big room in deluxe room maybe in suite a bit bigger but the price..................
in germany the room size is bigger (Berlin,Cologne)
lifts in W Paris are better than W Barcelona in BCN was too dark see nothing but in Paris is good RED Lifts

they have only 3 colors in this hotel
black
white
red
more blck&white.....i booked Wonderful room its about 23sqm not too big and not too small its ok for 1-2 people
bed is great not too soft for me

i'm lucky my room was not on the main street its a bit noisy and far from bar&club from hotel...too noisy
toilet is bigger than in BCN allll black color i dont like and when take a shoer half of toilet is wet and NO bathtub

there are many things for minibar the price is ok and they have free water (bravo) in room this is much better in BCN.. 2 blue boxes/room are complimentary

the safebox is not too big and in my room difficult to open a closet bcoz the safebox's door cant close it i try but always error..a door always open nothing special in this closet...a violet bag is for free
and informations in the room i have to ask at reception in BCN was better a bellboy come with me to a room and tell everythings this free this not

internet is NOT free 19euro/day 7euro/hour same price in BCN all W hotels have ipod charger..i dont have any ipod ipad i mobile i have only i love you
first time i can watch Thai tv in euopean hotel...in other hotels they have chinese,japanese,arabian tv but no Thai...but only TGN (Thai Global Network ch5 only)

back to toilet again i cant found ก็อกนํ้า where is it??
and there are 2 red lamps in room...1 in bedroom one in toilet....??

i like the fire exit in this hotel look very nice

i have dinner in the hotel too bcoz i'm too lazy to go out and this area too many tourists the hotel itself has a great restaurant from him

its spanish restaurant they have only tapas small portion food its not good for a pig like me after this dinner i'm hungry again ..anyway food in paris its cheaper than in swizz (for me) many things in paris are cheaper than in swizz

สรุป...i like W Opera Paris from 10 i give them 8 i prefer W Barcelona more i have a call from manager from hotel after check in..how do you like the room,hotel,staffs..etc super surprise to get a call like this maybe its still new hotel they want to know the feed back from the guests or maybe i'm SPG member??

It's Blair Waldorf with Chuck Bass. Love the spiral stair case.
I believe it was BNP Paribas. BNP must earn a lot leasing the building out!! Better than keep it as a bank office!!


Will be in Paris in one week, cannot afford W Opera. Have to stay at a friend's apartment

โรงแรมนี้สวยมากๆครับ คิดอยู่ว่าปีหน้าอยากจะข้ามไปเที่ยวปารีส แต่คงไม่อยู่โรงแรมนี้อ่ะ ดูท่าน่าจะแพงอยู่ครับ (ขอถามหน่อยครับว่าราคาประมาณกี่ยูโรครับ) ไปอยู่โฮสเตลไม่ก็แบบถูกๆดีกว่า 555
