KLM starting 25MAR12 is introducing Amsterdam – Taipei – Manila daily service, on board Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The NONSTOP flight to Taipei will replace existing 1-stop flight via Bangkok, and existing nonstop Manila service will be replaced by 1-stop. This is the first time in 20 years that KLM is offering Taiwan service on nonstop basis. KLM does not have local traffic rights on Taipei – Manila sector, although this sector initially was available for reservation but quickly removed afterward.
Service on Amsterdam – Bangkok service will become terminator flight, with Boeing 777-200ER/-300ER aircraft operating.

หลังจากที่ Air France นำเครื่อง B777-200ER ทำการบินสู่กรุงเทพฯมาก่อนหน้าร่วมปี
ตอนนี้ก็ถึงคราวที่คู่หูอย่าง KLM Royal Dutch Airlines จะเปลี่ยนเครื่องจากเจ้าป้า B747 มาเป็นเครื่อง B777-200ER/300ER มาทำการบินสู่กรุงเทพฯด้วยเช่นกัน
โดยจะเริ่มตั้งแต่ตารางการบินฤดูร้อนนี้เป็นต้นไป ทั้ง Air France และ KLM Royal Dutch Airlines จะเปลี่ยนเวลาบินใหม่
จากที่ปัจจุบันจะออกเดินทางช่วงกลางคืนก็จะปรับเปลี่ยนเป็นออกเดินทางจากกรุงเทพฯช่วงกลางวันแทน
รวมถึง KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ก็จะไม่ได้ทำการบินในเส้นทางกรุงเทพฯ-ไทเป(ใต้หวัน)อีกต่อไป
โดยเส้นทางไทเปจะเปลี่ยนเป็นการบินตรงอัมสเตอร์ดัม-ไทเป และเส้นทางบินตรงอัมสเตอร์ดัม-มะนิลาที่เคยบินตรงก็จะเปลี่ยนเป็นเที่ยวบินที่แวะพักที่ไทเปแทน

งานนี้คงได้เห็นเครื่องบินลาย Sky Team ของ KLM Royal Dutch Airlines บินมากรุงเทพฯสักวัน 
เครื่องใหม่ๆสวยๆมากรุงเทพฯเพิ่มอีกแล้ว แต่ก็อดใจหายไม่ได้ที่เจ้าป้า B747 จะค่อยๆหายไปเรื่อยๆ
