วันนี้ผมไปเจอลิงค์นี้ครับ

ซึ่งบอกรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับทุกสายการบินที่ประเทศไทยเคยมีครับ รวมไปถึงสายการบินที่เก่ามากๆ และสายการบินที่ยังไม่เคยทำการบินแต่ก็ล้มเลิกไปครับ

(อัพเดทมากๆ มีข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ Happy Air, Nakhon Chiangmai Air ด้วยครับ)

อะไรกันนี่?? เยอะมากๆ แต่มีรายเล็กๆที่ไม่เคยรู้จักเป็นส่วนใหญ่ครับ เสียดาย ถ้ามีรูปด้วยจะแจ่มไปเลย

ในปลายทศวรรษที่ 1930 สมัยที่สยามยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักของประชาชนทั่วไปในยุโรป
เจ้าชายสยามองค์หนึ่งทรงทำให้ชื่อของประเทศสยามระบือลื่อเลื่องลงหนังสือ พิมพ์ทุกฉบับในอังกฤษ ชื่อเสียงขจรขจายทั่วประเทศอื่นๆในยุโรป
ที่สนใจกีฬา
เพราะทรงชนะเลิศอันดับหนึ่งของการแข่งรถระหว่างชาติทั่วทวีปยุโรป 3 ปีซ้อน คือ 1936,1937 และ 1938 จนคว้าตำแหน่ง "ดาราทอง" ของสมาคมนักแข่งรถอังกฤษมาครองได้

เกียรติประวัติที่ควรจารึกไว้ คือ
ทรงชนะที่หนึ่ง 4 ครั้ง จากการชิงถ้วยเจ้าชายเรนีย์แห่งโมนาโก ชิงรางวัลระหว่างชาติที่บรูคแลนด์ส ชิงรางวัลใหญ่ของปีการ์ดี และชิงรางวัลของอาลบี
ชนะที่สอง 2 ครั้ง จากการแข่งที่เกาะแห่งเมน และการแข่งขันที่กรุงดับลิน
ชนะที่สาม 2 ครั้งจากการแข่งที่ภูเขาไอเฟิล และการชิงแชมเปี้ยนภูเขาที่บรูคแลนด์ส

เจ้าชายสยามองค์นั้นคือพระวรวงศ์เธอพระองค์เจ้าพีรพงศ์ภาณุเดช
หรือคนไทยเรียกกันสั้นๆว่าพระองค์พีระ

เมื่อเสด็จกลับสยาม สื่อมวลชนไทยในสมัยนั้นถวายสมญาว่า "เจ้าดาราทอง"
ราษฎรไปรับเสด็จกันคับคั่ง ทรงกลายเป็นวีรบุรุษในวงการกีฬาและขวัญใจประชาชน
สีฟ้าสดของรถแข่งที่ทรงขับ เรียกกันว่าสีฟ้าพีระ หรือ Bira blue กลายเป็นสีฮิทกันพักใหญ่ของสาวๆ
ในงานเลี้ยงที่จัดขึ้นต้อนรับพระองค์เจ้าพีระฯ แขกสาวๆในงานแต่งกายด้วยสีฟ้าสด สวยละลานตากันทั้งงาน

เริ่มต้นด้วยธุรกิจรถยนต์สั่งจากเยอรมัน ต้องล้มเลิกไป

พระองค์พีระเป็นนักกีฬาระดับอัจฉริยะก็จริง แต่ไม่ทรงมีหัวทางธุรกิจ

เพียงสามปีก็ทรงจำต้องเลิกกิจการ แล้วตั้งบริษัทใหม่ชื่อ Bira Commmerce Co. แทน

ต่อมาทรงดำริจะตั้งบริษัทเกี่ยวกับการบินชื่อ Bira Air Transport เพื่อขนส่งสินค้าทางอากาศระหว่างไทยกับลอนดอน

แต่ธุรกิจนี้ก็ไปไม่รอดอีก

ก็ของคุณอุดม แห่ง โอเรียนท์นั่นแหละครับ ไม่ต้องแปลกใจอะไร

ส่วน Air Andaman ถึงจะเลิกบินประจำ แต่เจ้าของก็หันไปทำธุรกิจเช่าเครื่องบินเหมาลำ ขายเครื่องบิน และรับทำด้านขนส่งทางอากาศให้สายการบินครับ
