สวัสดีครับ

เห็นช่วงนี้มีคนทำรีวิวบาหลีเยอะเหมือนกัน ท่าทางจะเป็นช่วงน่าเที่ยวนะครับ ทางแก๊งผมก็ได้จองกันไปหลายคนเหมือนกันตั้งแต่ FD sales ปีที่แล้วโน่น จองกันนานครบปีพอดีครับ แต่ก็ได้ตั๋วมาที่ราคาไปกลับ4778บาท

My most recent travel is a trip to Bali.. the latest journey , but not necessarily the latest ticket bought. I have got this ticket a year in advance during Air Asia Promotion fare. Hence, the ticket that cost me 16,000 Baht on Thai Airways is obtained for just 4,778 Baht. But that’s a bare ticket. I need additional payment for extras, will be detailed later

Here’s my add on and expense. Total of 6,228 Baht, way below half price of regular ticket.

• Hot Seat (Emergency Exit – 14F)
• Baggage outbound 15KG
• Baggage Inbound 20KG
• Breakfast – Pancake, butter, syrup (outbound)
• Lunch – Asian fried rice, Nasi Lemak (inbound)

เริ่มกันเลยที่ check in counter ครับ เราcheck in online กันมาหมดแล้ว คิดว่าแป้บเดียว ฝากกระเป๋าแล้วก็คงเสร็จ แต่พอไปเห็นคิวแล้วก็อึ้ง….

ไม่เข้าใจว่าทำไมการทำ bag drop ต้องใช้เวลานานขนาดนั้น แต่ละเคสคือช้ามากครับ เหมือนมีปัญหาให้แก้ทุกเคส

As airlines enthusiast, we are always well prepared with online check in, expecting a quick bag drop and then a walk in the terminal. But Air Asia is always give us unpleasant surprise. An hour spent on a bag drop queue is such a pain in the ass. We really don’ t understand why the agent took an age before completing a case.  Any passengers with problematic document should not be allowed to complete online check in in the first place. So what’s this fuzz is all about? In our turn, we barely a minute for each person.

เรามาถึงตอนตีสี่ แต่เวลาที่เราได้เช็คอินคือตีห้ากว่าๆครับ บอกตรงๆว่าหงุดหงิดมาก ไม่เข้าใจจริงๆว่าช้าตรงไหน ในขณะที่พอถึงคิวพวกเราก็ไม่เห็นมีอะไร คนละไม่เกินนาทีก็จบ การทำ bag drop ไม่ควรใช้เวลาเยอะนะ

เข้าไป airside กันดีกว่าครับ ไปกินกาแฟแก้โมโหหิว ไปถ่ายรูปเป็นที่ระลึกด้วย เพราะค่อนข้างมั่นใจว่าจะไม่ได้ใช้บริการของฝั่ง inter ที่นี่อีกอย่างแน่นอน

After a painful process, we went airside for a cup of coffee, and take photos as a memorabilia. I’m quite sure that this is going to be the first and the last time I use this airport for international flight. As long as Air Asia is still a sole international operator of this airport, I would definitely say no (well, this decision is made after we complete our trip, it is not just one individual incident that lead us to conclude so)

ไปกินกาแฟ แล้วก็แจกเงินกันครับ เราแลกเงิน US$ ไปเพื่อแลกอินโดรูเปียะอีกที

We exchange Thai Baht into US$, then re-exchange it into IDR, which will give us better rate than direct exchange between TH฿ and IDR.

Boarding กันเลยครับ ผมกับนายนอฟซื้อ Hot Seat แถวที่ 14 ไว้คนละฝั่ง เพราะคงอัดเข้าไปอยู่ใน seat pitch ของ Air Asia เค้าตลอด 4ชั่วโมงครึ่งไม่ไหวแน่ๆ แถว 14 นี่ recommend นะครับ เพราะเป็นแถวเดียวที่มี seat pitch กว้างที่สุดแล้วยังเอนเบาะได้อีกด้วย ถ้าเป็นแถวที่ 12 กว้างพอๆกัน แต่เอนเบาะไม่ได้ครับ

เชิญ Hot seat ขึ้นรถก่อน

 

Boarding commenced. My boyfriend and I bought a “Hot Seat” option, which are available for purchase on the first 5 rows (without additional legroom, I feel) and 2 emergency exit rows (12 and 14, better pitch, but row 12 are non-recline ones). Hot seat passenger are directed to board the bus first.

แล้วก็คนอื่นๆก็ตามมาขึ้นคันเดียวกันแหละ อ้าว ไหงงั้น ผมคาดหวังว่า Hot seat ต้องได้ขึ้นเครื่องก่อน เพราะพวกเราเอากระเป๋าไว้ใต้เก้าอี้ด้านหน้าไม่ได้ เราควรต้องได้ priority เก็บของก่อน นึ่คือคิดตามหลักความจำเป็นนะครับ เพราะตอนนี้ที่เห็นคือเราอยู่ด้านในสุดของรถ เราจะได้ขึ้นเครื่องเป็นกลุ่มหลังๆ แล้วถ้า overhead compartment เต็มจะทำยังไง เริ่มไม่ประทับใจการจัดการมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ

 

Second surprise! After Hot Seat passengers board, remaining passenger also get on the same bus, squeezing us into the front, away from the door. This makes us one of the LAST groups to board the aircraft. Consider the fact that we need space in overhead compartment to store our luggage (remember – storing luggage under the seat in front of us is prohibited in emergency exit rows) so we should be given priority.  I know there are many way to solve this problem, but isn’t it easier to prevent the problem than solving it?

ข่าวดี ประตูเครื่องปิดแล้ว แต่ก็ไม่มีคนอื่นมานั่งแถวเราครับ แปลว่าเราได้ Lie Flat bed คนละตัว สบายๆ

 

First good news of the day – the door is closed, but our neighbor seats are still empty. We got a lie flat seat for ourselves!

Pushback 06.20 ช้าไปห้านาที

5 minutes late pushing back. But that doesn’t bother me. Still plenty of time to make compensation in flight.

Take off ครับ ไฟลท์นี้ไม่มีใครถ่ายแอร์ทำ Demo มาเลยสักคนเดียว คงขี้เกียจจะเสียอารมณ์เวลาเจอแอร์เหวี่ยงมั้งครับ เอาแค่บนพื้นก็น่าจะพอ

 

Take off clip. Sorry, no photo of F/A doing safety demo. F/A of Air Asia group are pretty famous for pointing, screaming, instructing passengers to put away the camera. So I won’t bother.  They give me enough trouble for the day.
