สวัสดีครับ

มาต่อรีวิวที่เป็นร้านอาหารและแถมรีวิวดำน้ำให้นิดนึงนะครับ คราวนี้ดำน้ำมีรูปมาไม่มากเท่าไหร่ เพราะไปฝึก skill และเรียน Advance เลยไม่ได้ยุ่งกับกล้องถ่ายรูปมากนัก แต่พอจบ Advance แล้วก็ได้ไปดำ Fun trip ทีหินใบ หรือ Sail Rock dive มาหนึ่งวันครับ สนุกดีเหมือนกัน
เรือเราวันนี้คือ วีรยุทธนาวี 5 เป็นเรือ day trip ความสบายคงเทียบชั้นกับ Liveaboard อย่าง Peterpan ไม่ได้แน่ๆ แต่อุปกรณ์ครบ ความปลอดภัยเต็มร้อยครับ ความจุประมาณ 40 Divers + 10 Leaders ครับ ประมาณเอาด้วยสายตานะครับ ส่วนมากเป็นนักเรียน Advance, Tech diver, Tech divemaster trainee ที่แบนส์นี่แหละ

Dear friend,

Here come the second episode of my Koh Tao 2013 trip report. The first one is the Bangkok Airways flight to Samui with ferry.

Objective of my trip this time is to continue my diving practice and gain Advanced openwater license. So I have got a bit of underwater photo around Sail Rock Dive. Actually we did quite a lot of dive but we are both busy with skill practice so we didn’t concentrate on photo much, except in this dive to Sail Rock after our course completion.

The ship dispatched for us today is Weerayuthnavy 5, the day trip dive operating ship with full array of diving and safety equipment.

Sail Rock หรือหินใบ เป็นหินที่โผล่อยู่กลางน้ำ ระหว่างเกาะเต่าและพะงัน  ใช้เวลาประมาณหนึ่งชั่วโมงจากเกาะเต่าครับ  ดูบนผิวน้ำเหมือนไม่ค่อยมีอะไรเนอะ ก็หินธรรมดาก้อนนึง
Sail Rock is probably among the best dive site in the Gulf of Thailand, situated between Koh Tao and Koh Pa Ngan, approximately an hour sail from Koh Tao.

พร้อมแล้วก็ลงเลยครับ วันนี้น้ำไม่แรง เพื่อประหยัดเวลาเราก็ลงดิ่งลงไปเลยครับ ไม่ต้องเกาะเชือก น้ำไม่พัดเราไปไหนอยู่แล้ว เห็นฝรั่งตะละคนดำลงไปแล้วแบบว่า เก่งจัง  โดดลงจากเรือปุ้บ หมุนตัวลงน้ำหายไปเลย ไม่ต้องมาลอยตุ้บป่องจัดหน้ากากหรือเตรียมทำใจอย่างพวกเรา บางคนเป็น Tech Diver และบางคนเป็นถึง Techdive instructor คือสอนคนให้เป็น Tech dive แล้ว เรียกว่าขั้นเทพกันเสียกว่าครึ่ง
After an hour ride, we are instructed to free descend  - without the use of rope. There are no current and  we can comfortably go down.

มาถึงจุดหมายแรก chimney ครับ เป็นถ้าที่คล้ายๆปล่องไฟเตาผิงฝรั่ง คือมันจะมีรูให้เรามุดจากข้างล่าง แล้วก็หมุนตัวว่ายขึ้นมาที่ปากปล่องได้ นึกภาพเตาผิงในบ้านฝรั่งอ่ะครับ แรกๆก็ดูน่ากลัวนะ ดูมันอะไรก็ไม่รู้  เข้าไปแล้วจะออกมาได้หรือเปล่า
The first attraction is chimney. A kind of rock cave with the shape resemble the chimney and fire place. We can get in on the base and ascend up the top of it. Quite fun, I would say.

พอมุดเป็นแล้วสนุกดีครับ มุดเข้ามุดออก แต่ต้องระวังเม่นทะเลนิดนึง อยู่ตามผนังถ้าเต็มไปหมด
I love this place, even with the presence of Sea Urchin army along the wall.

ออกมาดูอะไรข้างนอกมั่งดีกว่าครับ แถวเกาะเต่านี่ที่ลึกๆจะสีไม่สวยเท่าไหร่ จะออก monotone นิดๆ สิมิลันจะออกแนวมีสีสันกว่าครับ แต่ที่นี่ก็มีอะไรให้ดูเยอะอยู่นะ
And the area around. Koh Tao Dive site is not as colorful as Similan, but schools of big fishes are pretty abundance.

แต่แถวนี้ ปลาใหญ่เยอะกว่าสิมิลันมากครับ ปลาเก๋ามีเยอะจนหิวเลย ตัวขนาดสักสองฟุตทั้งนั้น
See what I mentioned earlier? Grouper at the size of 60 cms, and he’s not just only one I found.

นี่ปลาแมงป่องครับ พรางตัวเก่ง พิษแรง โดนเงี่ยงพิษตำนี่จะเจ็บมาก จะจับอะไรต้องดูให้ดี หรือจะดีกว่าถ้าไม่จับเลย ส่วนใหญ่เขาเลยมี pointer หรือแท่งอลูมิเนียมอันเล็กๆ ยาวๆไว้คอยค้ำแทนมือ
We have gotta be careful of Rock fish and scorpion fish, the poisonous, skillful camouflage creature

ระหว่างที่ขึ้นจากน้ำ เจอเจ้าตัวจิ๋วน่ารักตัวนี้ ไม่รู้พันธ์อะไร กับลูกปลาวัวครับ ซ่อนอยู่ในเชือกผูกทุ่นจอดเรือ ดูตัวเล็กจนไม่อยากเชื่อว่าอีกหน่อยจะโตขึ้นป็นปลาวัวดุๆไปได้
And the juvenile form of trigger fish. Can’t believe that they can be this small, or it can grow up large and aggressive

เอาละ ขึ้นบกไปกินดีกว่าครับ ผมจะกินอยู่แถวกหน้าหาดทรายรี ก็คือหาดที่ตั้งของแบนส์แหละครับ มันมี walking street อยู่ตรงนั้น มีอาหารขายทั้งวันทั้งคืน (กลางคืนมีเยอะกว่าครับ) เตือนไว้นิด ร้านอาหารแถวนี้ พนักงานส่วนมากพูดภาษาไทยไม่ค่อยได้ครับ มีรูปมาให้ดูนิดหน่อยว่าถนนเค้าเป็นยังไง

Let’s come to the food review section. Without convenience transportation on the island, I always eat along Sairee beach, the place around my diving resort. There’s a walking street parallel to the beach ling and there are plenty of food selection, especially in the evening

สองร้านแรกที่ชอบบรรยากาศมากๆคือ AC2 Bar และ Island Restaurant ครับ
เอา AC2 Bar ก่อนดีกว่า  บรรยากาศดีครับ เป็นระเบียงริมทะเล ปูเสื่อและหมอนอิงให้นั่งๆนอนๆ ใต้ต้นไม้ประดับไฟ LED และแสงเทียน
The first one, AC 2 Bar is my favorite in term of seating and atmosphere. The place is warmly decorated with LED lined from the tree and lantern or candle on the table.

Best time to be here is during sunset as so we can relax, sit back and enjoy the sky changing color by seconds.
