After we get off the coach, we contact Peterpan’s agent and were informed to wait at platform 25. Their vehicle will be ready within a minute. And here they are. Song Thaew is a modified passenger truck that you can find everywhere in Thailand and neighbor country.

The pier is 30 kms away from Coach Terminal. This is what the car park space look like… much better than my expectation, well shaded and well guarded. I might consider driving here next time. (If I am not too lazy… though)

Passenger rest area, with self service tea, coffee and chocolate drink. I have been here in the morning journey last time, and Chinese doughnut is served. (4 am…. I’d better skip the doughnut and opt for some more nap)

เรือลำใหญ่ดีครับ นั่งสบายดี จุสัก 30 คนได้ครับ. ปกติเรือนี้จะแวะส่งคนที่ Captain Hook ก่อน แล้วค่อยไป Peterpan แต่คราวนี้คนเยอะมาก เลยแยกกันเลยครับ ลำนี้ไป Peterpan โดยตรง
With high demand on long holiday, they dispatch the largest boat that can easily accommodate 30 pax. The boat will normally run from the mainland, stop at Captain Cook resort and then to Peterpan. But that is not the case for today, passenger from each resort fill up an entire dedicated boat of their own.

Anyway, once we reach the island, it seemed sunny enough. This is the back of the resort. Peterpan is a great place to stay. To its front, there’s the private beach (or deserted enough), to its back is a canal that’s good for beginner’s kayaking

I don’t know what is this, honestly.. But it’s curry of belly pork with some kind of sour leaf. I think it’s “Chamuang” that I have heard about it but never tried one before.
น่าจะเป็นแกงหมูชะมวงนะครับ แงะเอามันหมูออกไป กินเนื้อกับใบชะมวง จะได้รสเปรี้ยวๆเค็มๆอร่อยดีครับ

Longan juice. It’s an all day treat. There will always be bread, tea, coffee, chocolate drink, fruit and longan juice at all time. Just grab anything you want.
