วันนี้่ (1 ตุลาคม 2555) ท่าอากาศยานดอนเมือง ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติแห่งแรกของประเทศไทยกลับมาให้บริการเต็มรูปแบบอีกครั้งหลังจากเปิดใช้ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิมา 6 ปีเต็ม พร้อมกับการย้ายฐานการบินแบบเนรมิตชั่วข้ามคืนของกลุ่มสายการบินแอร์เอเชีย ทีมข่าวHFLIGHT ลงพื้นที่ท่าอากาศยานดอนเมือง พาทุกท่านไปชม บรรยากาศวันแรกของดอนเมืองโฉมใหม่และบ้านใหม่ของแอร์เอเชียกัน
Today (1 October 2012), Don Mueang Airport, Thailand’s first international airport returned to full service after conceding its mantle to Suvarnabhumi Airport for a full 6 years. The reopening coincided with the overnight transfer of airline AirAsia. The HFLIGHT news team traveled to Don Mueang Airport to take all of its readers on a tour of the Don Mueang’s first day of rebirth to see its new look as well as how it is serving as AirAsia’s new home.

AirAsia was celebrating its first day as well as today with lively activities that included the contestants of Elite Model putting on a fashion show that went from Bangkok up 36,000 feet to Phuket

หลังจากผ่าน ตม. แล้วก็ ต้องผ่านจุดตรวจค้น X-Ray ผู้โดยสารขาออกนะครับ จากนั้นก็จะเข้าสู่ห้องพักผู้โดยสารขาออกระหว่างประเทศแล้ว ผู้โดยสารชาวต่างชาติติดต่อของ Vat Refund ได้ตรงนี้เลย
After passing through immigration, we reached the X-Ray zone for departures, which precedes the rest area for international travelers. Foreign passengers who want a VAT Refund may do so in this area.

ใกล้ ๆ กันเลยก็ถึงร้านค้าปลอดอากรของ King Power ซึ่งก็มีความใหญ่โตโออ่า มีสินค้าหลากหลายชนิดไม่แพ้ที่สุวรรณภูมิเลย
Not far away is the duty free shop of King Power, which is as grand and abundant as its sister in Suvarnabhumi Airport.

ห้องน้ำห้องที่อยู่ใกล้ ๆ กับโซนร้านค้าตกแต่งใหม่สวยงามมากครับ (โดย Cotto) ซึ่งมีฝั่งละ 1 จุด(ในประเทศ 1 จุด และระหว่างประเทศ 1 จุด)
The lavatories near the retail area are both new and exquisite (redone by Cotto). Each area has one lavatory (one for the domestic area and one for the international area).

One highlight that was drawing the eyes of travelers was this wall (by Cotto), which takes viewers on a tour across the globe and is perfect for snapping some souvenir photos. See it in action in our video. Its present in both the domestic and international areas.

Boots, Dunkin’ Donuts and Au Bon Pain as well as King Power’s pick up counter are all located near the Pier 2 entrance, which is just opposite the staircase to Bus Gates 1-6

When flying from Don Mueang, passengers who have purchased King Power Complex goods, whether from Soi Rang Nam or Pattaya, may pick up their items here

Starbucks ก็มีทั้งในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศเลยครับ ส่วน Burger King อยู่ทางเข้า Pier 3 แต่ว่าอินทริคเลาจน์หายไปแล้วนะครับแต่ร้านนวดฝ่าเท้ายังอยู่
There are Starbucks cafes in both the domestic and international areas while Burger King can be found at the entrance to Pier 3. While the lounge may be gone, the foot massage shop remains.
