well lets get started:



Intro:
Well first of all during my trip, i had planned this 2 years ago and i had a notebook where i note down the aircraft reg, flight time, and the things that happened in my trip but on my way back to ASU i left it in Taiwan so i lost everything.... and im sorry everyone that i can't make this trip-report perfect....

Well on the day of the flight i woke up early like at 7am... and started packing, the things that my family in Taiwan asked for and all my clothes and stuff.... later found out that i had more space so i went shopping for more stuff... but then i was afraid that i was going to have over weight but luckly it didn't but it looked heavy... but oh well...

my dad took me to the airport at 16:30pm two hours before dep, but the check in line was jammed as Tam has a mini hub in Asuncion so there were other flights (as Paraguay is in the middle of south america it has flights from everywhere in south america with Tam) well, we were in line about 15 minutes which is quick because you should have seen the line it was up to the door of the airport.... luckly the travel agency that i brought my ticket were friends with Tam so i could check in first....

they gave me the boarding pass, security was fast , so my dad accompanied my to the gate (my dad has authorities in the airport) and we waited for the bording call...

anyways... we waited and waited finally they announced that there was a delay of the flight comming in from Argentina so we had to wait...
Finally an hour passed and boarding was called i said my goodbyes to my dad and i boarded the plane, my seat was 3A so i was in the front and had a window, this was a full flight but no one was sitting beside me so lucky me i had a 30 min nap...

We then taxied very smothly and in short time we took off! sorry i coudn't remember the runway number as i left my notes.....
well we took off and turned left were i could see the airport and took a pic





soon they started serving drinks and a snack- consisting of a sandwich a mini salad and a delicious brownie yummm! ...
anyways later i looked out the window and i saw cloudes getting thicker so i thought maybe GRU was raining and to my surprise it was raining hard!







After taking my nap... we were at decent and soon landed with a bumpy land... i almost nock my head ... and there was this woman sitting in fron of my seat screaming Dios Mio (Oh my god) it was funny....

Well i arrived at GRU at 22:00am and my next flight to LAX was 00:50am... so i had a lot of time and so after deplaning the aircraft we went on a bus to the terminal were i could transfer to my next flight...
and to the people that have been to Brazil, there were little duty free shops or anything so i just went straight to my gate.. i had to change terminals as Tam and Varig are in a different Terminal and it was a long walk as i did not want to take the bus ( i don't even know if there is one) lol well, while walking to my gate i spotted a lot of airplanes but coudn't take pictures as it was raining but managed to take some pictures in side the airport

Well i arrived at the gate and i checked in for the GRU-NRT with a stopover in LAX, i also gave the gate agent my Smiles membership card
i have Star Alliance Silver



well the check-in agent told me that the flight well be delayed until 3am!! due to the plane coming from Rio De Janerio but she didn't explain why.. but oh well...

while i waited i went to explore the airport, there were flight going to the states, canada, europe, operated by AA, DL, CO, Alitalia, AC, Lufthansa, Varig then i took a pic of the airport of been bored...



Then more and more people started comming to the gate i knew this was gonna be a full flight!
then i started to read my novel and wonder around looking at planes and getting REALLY BORED
then 3am came and the plane was finally here!

We all boarded and sat in the plane... we sat... and sat... and sat... i started to talk with two sisters that were my seatmates... they were going to disney in LA.... then the time passed....
and the the captain came up on the PA... saying that we had to change planes due to engine problems.....

and so we all deplaned and change plane which was also a MD-11 i was hoping fo a 777 which has PTVs but....
by the time we were all set for departure.... it was 6 AM!!!!!! OMG i can't believe it... it was a total dissapointment and then i knew i was gonna miss my flight in NRT-TPE......so....

as you could see they were unloading the stuff to come on the "working plane" then i noticied that my audio device wasn't working and i asked the F/a if i could change seats and to my response she responded:

ME: "can i change seats since my audio device isn't working"
F/A: "well What can i do?"

um... hello? you are suppose to look for a seat or just tell me nicely "there are no more seats, im sorry"... but no she just shrugged her shoulders and went....

Well we finally departed... breakfast was served instead of dinner because of the delay... and we all went to sleep i forgot what movie was on but i slept the whole flight because i was too tired.. almost every passenger was sleeping.... and the seat pitch sucks.... well in the middle of the flight i got up and took some fotos....

We then finally arrived at LAX the plane was flying very fast!!! but we arrived... thank god...
there were people hurrying to the front because there were gonna miss there flight because of the delay.... Varig did not do anything to it.... very sad...

then in an hour we boarded again this time 2 japanese girls sat beside me and a really tall japanese guy sat in the back and his knees were kicking my seat and so i couldn't recline and so during the whole flight i was very unconfortable!!! my legs hurt at the end of the flight!!!
anyways we quickly departed....

i wanted badly to hop into that china airlines so i could arrive directly to Taiwan but oh well....

anyways we quickly took off... and meals were delivered... in this sector it was delicious yumm
lol...
Well in the middle of the flight i noticed a kid running around the cabin... and then suddenly i looked at him closely and then noticed that i knew that kid's family... i was so happy that i had someone to talk to and ask them what are they going to do if they miss the TPE flight so i went over to their seat...
and then they told me that they had been waiting for 5 hours in LAX for this plane... and that thery were going to NRT to visit so they weren't going straight to Taiwan so i was alone again...
during the flight i got bored again so i took some pics...

Well we finally arrived at NRT... and just while taxiing to the gate... i could se my flight to TPE taxiing to the Runway... do you know how depressing that feels like? its like you wanna jump off the plane and yell wait for me.... enough of imagination....
when we arrived at the gate we saw that the returning Varig Flight's crew and passengers were already waiting to board this plane again... poor plane he had to continue to work.....

Well i went rushing throught the terminal in order to find you t what will i do... i got to the VARIG ground staff desk... and ask them if there was another flight to KHH but they said no.... and said they were gonna put me in a hotel thats when i calmed down.... Varig had to do something...

anyway they re-bboked me on a China Airlines flight on the next day
on CI 107 NRT-TPE 9:40am then CI193 TPE-KHH 13:40pm

well they took me to the hotel... it was "ok" it was Varig Crew's hotel as it had Varig's meeting office and stuff

After that i was VERY TIRED that i fell asleep as soon as i was in my room...

well i had morning call for 6:30 so i could catch the bus to the airport at 7:00 for my flight at 9:40.

Well i got to the Airport at 7:30 or so and the terminal looked crowded... took me sometime to find the check-in counter

i later got my boarding pass as check in only took 2 mins lol




then i went for some window shopping as there were a lot of place to go shopping lol the airport is very big and well desigened
after 15 mins of shopping i headed to the gate where i took a pic of the plane



beautiful im so proud of it  :wink:

well i also spotted some interesting planes







we finally boarded and soon enought we were airborn
the flight was only half full and very quickly we were in Taipei

i didn't take anymore pics as the battery went dead ...

I have a very big dissapointment on Varig don't understand how they can work that way...
